Finance One, a locally owned consumer finance company, provides fast and friendly service to South Louisiana residents. For more than 14 years Finance One has specialized in starter loans and used auto loans of $100 to $5,000. Loan programs can range from four to 24 months.
Ray Neigel, owner and manager of this full time loan operation, takes pride in customizing each loan to fit the unique needs of Finance One’s customers. “We look to help the individual and put a loan together they can afford,” Neigel said. Finance One counsels their customers to apply for loans within their budgets. “You don’t have to have established credit on a small starter loan,” Neigel said. “We don’t even look at national screenings or credit scores.”
To customize a loan, Finance One considers each customer’s income, employment information and credit history. From this information, Finance One designs a loan program that will best fulfill the customers’ needs and maximize their benefits. All decisions are based on the customer and are made locally. “There is no middle man,” Neigel said. Customers can apply for a loan by phone or in person. Usually, they provide an answer within thirty minutes.
Finance One consists of two experienced lenders. With 40 years of banking and finance experience, Neigel said his “true passion” is guiding his customers through their loan decisions. Neigel’s “right hand” consumer lender, Brandy Ledet, has worked with Finance One for 8 years. Together, they provide a personalized service that builds a strong relationship with their customers. If a customer has any concern, Neigel and Ledet strive to resolve the issue quickly.
Finance One enjoys staying involved with the community that has supported their business for so many years. Frequently, Finance One anonymously donates to local organizations and schools. They also enjoy celebrating the holidays by giving away turkeys and other prizes. This business is always looking for new opportunities to demonstrate their appreciation for the community’s support.
Although Finance One is open during typical business hours, they attempt to accommodate all of their customers.
