Fon’s Pest Management

For 23 years, Fon’s Pest Management has helped residences and businesses of Louisiana eliminate their pesky pest problems. Ronald “Fon” Fonseca, owner and operator, is positive his locally owned and operated company can exterminate any bug problem. Fon’s Pest Management is state certified and licensed to provide pest control, termite control and fumigation. Free quotes and termite inspections can be obtained by phone, email and in person. “My doors are never closed and my phone number is never hidden,” Fonseca said.

Fonseca began his 45-year career at a local golf course while tending the green. His brother persuaded him to work at a local franchised pest control company. While working with other companies, Fonseca completed nine years of training and obtained his licenses from Louisiana State University. He opened Fon’s Pest Management in 1987 with only one truck. “I never thought a bug would make me a living,” Fonseca said.

Years later, Fon’s Pest Management has 14 trucks and 21 employees. Fonseca and Henry Leblanc, manager for eight years, supervise the intense training of employees for 90 days. Employees also attend on-going training through out the year. They actively attend seminars, remain current on new control information and extensively study different pests. In addition, the employees must demonstrate significant knowledge of safety rules and be recertified each year. “They are trained the way I was trained,” Fonseca said.

Fon’s Pest Management provides honest and trustworthy services to homes with small children, pets and allergies. Fon’s Pest Management uses chemicals with no odor and baiting systems are available in various forms.
